SUMMARY
At the moment the intensification of competitiveness is significant in all over the world. In recent time it wasn’t noticeable in most countries and branches of industries. The markets were immune against competitiveness. Even there where competence was occurring it wasn’t as strong as it could be. The growth of competitiveness was being blocked by government decisions and cartel arrangements.
Referring to Department of Statistics to the Government of the Republic of Lithuania there is growing number of economic subjects in Lithuania. Each year there are established thousands of companies which are successfully or not are implementing own performance. Nerveless not all of them can remain in competitive battle and as a result it goes to bankrupt. In order to identify success factors in particular branch of industry it is required to reveal possibilities of competitive advantages. So to be successful means strengthening own competitive possibilities. However there are always occurring some difficulties trying to reach it. Often companies are trying to find out success formulas of corporations which are performing successfully. But it is necessary to admit that what is proper for one business not always are proper for other.
Transportation – it is branch of economy which refers to carrying loads and passengers by all kind of vehicles. Transport services are the most exported service in Lithuania. However at the moment potential of this market are not completely used. Existing vehicles it is not able to fulfill present demand of carriage service. There are paid too less attention to analysis...
