So today I’ m going to talk about the similarities and differences that England and Lithuania have in laws.
The first law I’m going to talk about is transport. In Britain teenagers can’t drive a car on the road until the age of seventeen and at the age of sixteen they can ride mopeds with a small engine and quad bikes off the road. In Lithuania the law is a bit different. Here teenagers can only drive a car at the age of eighteen but they can ride mopeds at sixteen as well.
The second law is education. Compulsory education in Britain continues until a child is sixteen and all students have to stay in full or part-time education until then. This law is the same in Lithuania. Students have to stay in school up until they’re sixteen and then they can decide if they want to further their education or not.
The third law is work. Teens can start a part-time job at the age of thirteen in Britain, but can only work for twelve hours a week....
