I. Introduction
Tesco Plc is international supermarket chain based in the United Kingdom, the largest British retailer, both by global sales and by domestic market share. The supermarket chain specialises in food retailing and also it has moved into clothing, electronics, financial, internet, and telecoms consumer services.
The main aims of the assignment are to analyse Tesco Plc under these topics:
• Brands;
• Distribution;
• International Operations.
There are six headings in the assignment. The first and the second headings are introductory with a goal to become more familiar with Tesco Plc. In the first heading will be taken a look at profile of the company. The second heading will include short and brief history of Tesco Plc.
The third, fourth and fifth headings will include analysing Tesco’s brands, distribution and international operations. Finally the last heading includes conclusion of the assignment.
The author of the assignment sets his objective to become more familiar with Tesco Plc and company’s brands, distribution and international operations and to spread all collected information in the assignment.
