Comparison and contrast of evident similarities and vivid differences between Lithuania and Canada may be very interesting. At first glance, Lithuania and Canada may seem to be worlds apart. Looking closer, one may see some similarities and innumerable amount of differences. Thus, it means that both countries are unique in their striking features. To make it sure, the comparison and contrast of the population, area, forest area, arable land, main languages and main religions of both countries are provided.
Generally speaking, Lithuania, or officially the Republic of Lithuania is a country in Northern Europe. It is the southernmost of the three Baltic States – and the largest and most populous of them. Situated along the southeastern shore of the Baltic Sea, it shares borders with Latvia to the north, Belarus to the south-east, Poland, and Kaliningrad to the south-west. Contrary to Lithuania, Canada is a country occupying most of northern North America, extending from the Atlantic Ocean in the east to the Pacific Ocean in the west and northward into the Arctic Ocean. It is the world's second largest country by total area and shares land borders with the United States to the south and north-west.
Comparing both countries by their similarities, it may be said, that these two different countries are similar in their main religion, and partly alike in their forest area.
