The work is new because it is the first time in preschool pedagogy when there were tested and compared behaviour children’s at little age, there are shown possible problem’s solutions.
Aim of the research: to discover the problems in the children’s behaviour and to find possible solutions in the group.
Task of the research. 1. To find in what playing spaces children conflict most often. 2. To find how influence group ambience changes to the children’s behaviour. 3. To show how educators solve children’s behaviour problems in the group.
Hypothesis: properly arranged group’s ambience influence children’s behaviour in proper way.
Object of the research: children’s behaviour during independent activity in the group’s spaces.
Methods of the research. 1. Observation. 2. Educators questionnaire. 3. Statistical methods: data tables, graphical illustrations, percentage, diagrams.
Organisation of the research. Children from the two kinder gardens in Vilnius have participated in the survey. 40 children from 1,8 to 3,8 year age and 25 educators took part in survey. Survey was done during autumn 2004 and spring 2005. It lasted 3 months.
Work structure. Total volume of the work is 65 pages (along with 160 pages with observations’ protocols and 25 pages with educators’ questionnaire).
Results of the research. Results from the survey have shoved that children aged 2-3 year conflict most often in the area designated for motion and in the area where table games are located. The results of the pedagogical research have proved that near half of the children very often started theirs independence activities, most often they were happy during activities. And very little they used power or spoil the playing places or used to ask the educators for relief. Hypothesis proved that properly arranged play spaces, artistic, ethnic group ambiences positively influence children’s behaviour.
