We can say that the law is a kind of system related to the different forms of behaviours. Some of them are descriptive nad some of them are prescriptive. Descriptive laws describe how people usually behave while prescriptive ones warn people about how should they behave.
In social life, customs,informal rules of social life,religional ,educational and cultural and moral rules regulate the relations between the people. On the other hand, some laws are made by the nations and citiziens have to obey them. So we can say that laws vary according to the societies.
Customs are not written down and made by the governments. People naturally learn how to behave in the society while living. They learn the right ways of behaviours from their families, teachers,friends or the other people around them. If you often break these rules, the society critize you or sometimes ignore you. However, the rules of social institutions are more strict than customs . They are not made by the political rules but if you break them, you can be punished by the related institutions such as schools, sports clubs,etc.
However , when the governments make laws, they use courts systems to use their power on the citizens.
Infact, it is clear that both public laws and civil wars are very essential to control the social life. If there is no law, there would be anarchy in societ.
The laws may either be written or unwritten. Considered from the aspect according to the of their sources, laws are traditionally divided into two main categories solemnity of the form in which they are made.
