To be a part of the organization means to be a part of its culture. How people work and how things are being done do an extraordinary effect on the organizational activities. Employee’s relationships, substantial propositions and attitude are the parts of organizational work culture. In today’s fast changing world organizations have to arrange the organizational culture that it would be not only flexible, but also sensitive towards cultural differences. The members of the organization face cultural differences not only in their own society, but in other societies as well.
During the past few years the differences between society cultures showed up, because more groups of people got to use political voice logistic right. People became more flexible for the requirement to accept the differences among races, gender, physical abilities, sexual orientation, and ethnic sameness. Since current organizations participate in the world economy, the members of the organizations must be sensitive towards different cultural attitudes which are faced while spreading the horizons behind the country borders. This work goal is to pay attention to the definition of the organizational culture, discover its operation and understand multicultural goals and problems associated with today’s organizations.
The aim of this paper work is to reveal the phenomenon of organizational culture, to present the basic functions of culture and its influence over the organization’s work.
• The philosophy, ideology, values and norms accepted by the members of organization (D. Smirich, 1989);
• Dominated values displayed during stories or memories (T.J Peters, R.H. Waterman, 1983).
• An active living phenomenon through which people jointly create and recreate the worlds in which they live (Gareth Morgan)2.
However, most scientists as the basis of the culture set values which are prevailing in the organization.
