Introduction
Nowadays in our fast moving world recruitment industry is one of the few industries that have a big influence on the UK economy. Its highs and lows is like a barometer for economy observation and future predictions. Recent Recruitment and Employment Confederations reports shows that the industry gets more competitive, especially in temporary submarket, firms prices and margins start to fall. Nevertheless, there are some recruitment agencies that still works successfully even in a strained market conditions. One of those agencies is Balfor Recruitment Group Ltd.
Founded in 1997 by Jazz Ball Balfor Recruitment Group has more than ten years of successful experience in a rapidly changing Great Britain’s recruitment industry. Companies the only one office is located in the city center of Birmingham. Having just 40 full time employees organization makes annual turnover of 20 million GBP. Balfor specializes in six major sectors of industry: education, commercial, social care, IT, sales & marketing and construction.
The main purpose of this report is to identify the main problem organization faces by examining externally and internally or in other words by making strategic analysis of the company Balfor Recruitment Group. Basically this report is divided in six major sections. First one will provide with basic information about the company Balfor recruitment and will examine why organization is still working successfully even in a strained market conditions. Second section will analyze external environment that company faces, including UK’s recruitment market, customer, competitors and macro environmental analysis. Third section will examine the internal analysis of Balfor Recruitment Group. Next section will include strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities analysis. This will follow with problem identification, which is the main purpose of this report.
