• He (she) has personal, family and community problems resulting from interaction with others.
• Something can be done to alleviate these problems and enrich the individual’s life.
Social workers work with:
• young offenders;
• people with mental health problems;
• school non-attenders;
• drug and alcohol abusers;
• people with learning and physical disabilities;
• the elderly.
