Is it acceptable to keep animals in zoos?

The world is a huge place to see. It consists of a lot of different living things, so it makes it impossible for humans to see each and every one of them. To make it easier for people to see wildlife animals, zoos were created. For many years animals have been kept in zoos by people who believed that it was the best place for wildlife. However many people would disagree with this statement, they think animals should be where they belong - in the wild. In this essay, I will try to outline the advantages and disadvantages of keeping animals in zoos.
There are some advantages of keeping animals in zoos. For example people don’t need to travel long distances to see wildlife animals up close. Being close to unique animals allows scientists and researchers to study their behaviour towards human contact and this can also help them discover new things.
