How does Marx describe labour in the capital society

Major changes in technologies, culture, economic and social life in 18-19 centuries (mainly known as industrial revolution1) determined collapse of feudal system and caused a formation of a new capitalistic society, where manufactures replaced manual labour. One of the most famous analysts of this society was Karl Marx, who saw industrialization process as a necessity: “It compels all nations, on pain of extinction, to adopt the bourgeois mode of production; it compels them to introduce what it calls civilisation into their midst, i.e., to become bourgeois themselves.2 ”, but also as a stratification of community into two classes- the bourgeoisie and proletariat. How does he define those classes, what is their function in society and are there any difficulties for their wellbeing, are those thoughts right? I will analyze those questions with a help of Marx’s and his critic’s works, analysis and essays about labour.
In capitalism system bourgeoisie becomes the ruling class, which means it owns the bulk of the means of production (land factories, offices, capital, resources). This enables it to employ and exploit the work of a large mass of workers (proletariat), who have no other means of live hood than to sell their labour3. Marx argues that they have no choice: they must sell themselves in order to survive; they are like a commodity of a market.4 This situation brings a lot of disadvantages to proletariat. First of all, work labour can be very cheaply exchanged for money. Bourgeoisie can use this advantage, if proletariat work brings more profit, than it costs. This causes inequality of property, as capitalists get the majority benefit of the good, which they even didn’t make.
