Comparing bars

This report will evaluate Bar Pravda at the Birmingham Hyatt Hotel and The bar in Birmingham’s Ramada hotel. Both bars will be compared under six different criteria such as space over of the bar, ordering processes, bars interior for the public area, predominant colours, the space behind the bar and product merchandising. The seventh and last criteria will include College stores as well and all three places will be compared.
Looking at Bar Pravda the space is comfortable and quite cozy. The smoking area tables are really close to each other while non smoking area tables have more space between them. The whole bar has a total of 21 tables which are 5 different types. 10 out of 21 table are in the smoking area while the whole smoking area takes maximum a 1/3 of the bar space which is why they are so closely connected and does not give a lot of private space for the customers. Since this bar has no dancing area or any free space to stand there and have a talk it almost forces all the customers to sit in their chairs and relax there, which are comfy, but once again the limited space in the smoking area limits the customers chance to talk about something personal or increases the chance to feel someone else’s smoke being blown straight to the face of people sitting by.
The bar has 5 different tables for different purposes of use. There is a huge table which is as tall as a bar and is placed in the middle of the bar. Then there are small round coffee tables, and 4 mini bars for 2 people, which lets customers enjoy a private bar to themselves.
