Lithuanian theatres

The first theatres were in ancient Greek. People sat in the open air on a hillside, while the actors and dancers performed on a space called orchestra. They acted the tragedies and comedies. In the middle ages people performed miracle and mystery plays - stories from the Bible or morality plays.
Some of the first indoor theatres were built in England in the 16th century. Groups of actors performed the plays of Shakespeare and others. Actors wore clothes of their days. Boys took women parts, as women were not allowed to act. Since the 18th century plays became closer to real life. The plots were usually about lives of ordinary people.
I think nowadays theatre is actual too and people like it. In my opinion if you want to be intelligent you have to see theatre though one time in your life.
Firstly, I want to speak about Lithuanian theatre. I think that the most popular in Lithuania are: “Kaunas State Academic Drama Theatre”, “Klaipeda State Drama Theatre”, “State Youth Theatre”(Vilnius), “Vilnius Small Theatre”, “Siauliai Drama Theatre”, “Juozas Miltinis Drama Theatre”. But I have never been there, however I really want to visit one of them and I think that I will visit one of them someday.
So, our city has a theatre too, it is called “Alytaus Miesto Teatras”. Our theatre was found 1989 y. The director our theatre is Kinderis. Our theatre became the member of the International Association of Theatres a short time ago. Personally I am not the respecter of theatres, but sometimes I like it. I saw “Romeo and Juliet”, “John Livingston tern” and others, but I don’t liked...
