Mr Biden supports raising the federal minimum wage to $15 (£11.50) an hour. He has vowed to raise taxes on the wealthy and corporations, using the trillions of dollars generated to upgrade the nation’s infrastructure and shift to a clean-energy future.
Trump has promised more cuts to taxes and regulations, and hinted at additional tariffs against China.
Racism
In the wake of the race protests that have gripped the US last year, he said he believes that racism exists in the US and must be dealt with through broad economic and social programms to support minorities.
