Interesting Life Journey of Ken Kesey

Kenneth Elton Kesey was an American author, best known for his novels, “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”, and “Sometimes a Great Notion.” He was born in September 17, 1935 in La Junta, Colorado. In his high school years he moved to Springfield, Oregon. He was very good in wrestling in both high school and college. Later in his life he married Faye Haxby. They had three kids, Ken also had one more kid with another women.
In 1958 he was awarded “Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship” to attend Stanford University in Creative Writing Program. The next year Kesey volunteered to take drugs in a hospital research project. They used drugs on Kasey to see affects it makes on human. He was like medical guinea pig.
