Importance of friendships

From the very start of human existence, we were programmed by nature to have special connections and bonds with others. In the animal kingdom we can in theory witness something similar of our connections with others but unlike them our understanding of friendship is a lot more complex and varied. This is best explained by a motivational speaker from the Ted talk channel that is on YouTube a social media platform on the internet. Her speech in a nutshell is all about the importance of maintaining friendship and how technology allowed us to do that easier. In the video she gives out her ideas of we could do to help others make connections and maintain bonds, some of these given ideas I agree with, but with others I don’t. One of ideas stuck with me in particular was making a website or in other words a platform that would exist on the internet in which people could interact with and maintain old friendships or create new ones, I thought that was a great idea that should be implemented.
