Township Veiviržėnai

• Today I just want to tell you about my village Mataičiai, but this village is too small, so I can’t say anything interesting about it. That I desided to tell you about township Veiviržėnai in which I finished school.
• This township established in edge region of Klaipėda, has its river Veiviržas, its history and individual places and buildings.
• Firstly, arrived in Veiviržėnai, all observed our school, four years ago became gymnasium. And today in this school are about 500 pupils. Often fell to heart from guests, that our school amazed all simplicity. On everyone sill blow flowers, first and second floor’s coridors decorated pupils graphics, a long coridor to canteen decorated pupils works from paper and other school’s graphics. And in the third floor is a great atristical work from clay, gravel, sinks and lops of tree. And it called “Bottom of the sea”. In the ground floor we have hall in which young people play tennis and can move dumbbell. Also we have and hall of sport, decorated by young artists, stimulating all to go in for sports and live healthily. And although hardly we can called food of our canteen health but there it is very deliciuos and not expensive.
Museum of region studies
• And what more interesting has our school? Probably not many schools have museums of region studies but our school has it in the third floor. In this museum saved various things – started stony hatchets, old money and photos, finished a large clock and looms.Also in this museum collected 12 indirected villages histories. Altogether in museum collected about 700 exhibits. It is very nice to found photos of parents, to know history of some villages and to see all things with which worked our grandparents.
