• We often use so and such to talk about cause(priežastis) and effect (pasekmės).
• The problem was so difficult that we couldn’t solve it.
• It was such a difficult problem that we couldn’t solve it.
• The car was so expensive (that) we couldn’t buy it.
• He spoke so quickly (that) I couldn’t understand him.
• There were so many people (that) I couldn’t find a seat.
• There was so much noise (that) I couldn’t hear.

• We can also use so and such without a that clause as an emphatic way(pabrėždami) of saying “very” or “really”.
