Research-Based Thematic Analysis (Frankenstein)

The questions I will answer are: How much power should humans have in their ability to create or destroy? and What responsibility do we have in the way we use or abuse scientific developments? Three areas of science I’m using are; microsurgery, cloning / genes modification and brain surgery (microchiping). Scientists in this areas try to be equal with God and interfere in the nature. Trying to make “perfect” human is dangerous and actually may lead to other problems which didn’t exist before. However it is needed for further science development. It is said that cost fulfils the final result. Meaning that without trying and making mistakes, you will not be able to make further progress in some areas, which basically lets and encourages scientists to try to achieve something, superb and new. On other hand what responsibility do we have in our methods, and were our aims worth the sacrifice that was done in order to complete the task? The Frankenstein book is about Victor Frankenstein a scientist, which wanted to create a superhuman, unfortunately he didn’t consider the further consequences of his creation. The questions is, was he allowed to create something like this, and then just dump it, and try to forget as it would have been a bad dream. Was it an act of self-fishiness and look for the fame or just stupidity of a man? I think this was an act of selfishness and look for the fame.
Microsurgery saves peoples lives, attaches lost limbs. The monster is a collection of best body parts of people attached together. In both cases it is done in order to make good for people. In real live attaching lost limbs without which it would be hard to live and function in everyday live. In monsters case is about him...
