First company name “Personal computers” was made-up in 1998 by company general director Darius Blinstrubas. Company name “Personal computers” means company product. In 2000 company name was changed in “iTech”, because company began to sell not only personal computers, but and IT technologies. “ITech” name is using till now.
Company activities
Now company sells personal computers, workstations (high-end microcomputer designed for technical or scientific applications), Notebooks, PDAs (handheld computer also known as palmtop computers), Networking products and systems, Data archiving and backup systems and etc.
And maintain data storage solution, IT equipment warranty and non-warranty, IT rent services.
Development and history of company
“Personal computers” company was created in 1999 in Kaunas city. Then this company started to sell and repair the personal computers. In company worked few workers-the computer specialist and the salespeople the company owner has been Mr. Darius Blinstrubas. After one year the company expanded. They moved to bigger premise and engaged more workers.
In 2000 company started reconstruction. They created company departments. First department was repairing and installing department. This department was responsible for computers repairing, guarantees service and for software and hardware installing. Other department is store department. This department is responsible for product storehouse. And the last department was accounting department from which was controlling whole company. In this department worked the owner, bookkeeper and manager.
After the reconstruction company changed the company type and name to the Private limited company “iTech”. They started to develop the company to other cities. Like Vilnius, Klaipėda.
Now this company sells IT equipment and systems like, Personal computers and workstations, Notebooks and PDAs, Servers. And is one of biggest IT Technologies Company in Lithuania.
