Civil law concerns disputes among citizens within a country. English civil law has five main categories: contracts, torts, trusts, probate and Family Law. Now I will fully talk about contracts and torts.
Contract law is a central part of legal systems all over the world. Talking about contracts there are two main types: written and unwritten contracts.
The written contract is a written agreement between people laying out the exact details of promises they have made to each other. For example, when a farm agrees to supply fruit and vegetables to a supermarket, then the two businesses draw up a contract containing many clauses about: 1) what kind of goods will be supplying; 2) how often and in what quantities; 3) who will be paying for transport and unpacking; 4) what prices will be; and so on.
