World-famous bridges

~ Hello, everyone, my individual speech sub-topic is “World-famous bridges”. So, at the beginning, I’d like to introduce the title and the location of the bridge. Well, I’m going to talk about … Golden gate bridge) which is constructed in … (Sam Francisko, California). ~ Now, let me describe how the bridge looks like (kaip atrodo). When you first see the bridge live or on the picture first things that comes in mind is how massive it is, with tall columns. It has one main color – red. ~ To continue, I‘d like to share a few facts connected with the bridge. While the bridge was being built, 11 men tragically died by accidentally falling off the bridge, so for that reason, a safety net was built bellow the bridge, which saved lifes of 19 men. San Franciscans celebrated the opening of the Golden Gate Bridge with Pedestrian Day on May 27, 1937. As many as 200,000 people crossed the bridge that day. People competed to be the first to run, push a baby stroller, and even roller skate across the Golden Gate Bridge.  ~ Last but not least, let me explain why I have chosen this bridge, but not any other one.
