We must change the world before the world changes us

With each passing day, pollution of nature is increasing and we humans are to blame for this. Currently There are five major environmental issues in the world: Air pollution, deforestation, species extinction, climate change and water pollution. And today I will talk about water pollution and what we should do to reduce water pollution in the world.
Water is essential for life. Everyone knows how important water is to nature and to all living organisms. However, water pollution is one of the most serious ecological threats we face today.
Water pollution is often affected by accidental leaks and spills – associated with handling and storage of chemicals. They may happen anytime and, although they are usually contained soon after they happen, the risk of polluting surface and groundwater still exists. An example is ship accidents such as the Exxon Valdez disaster, which spilled large amounts of petroleum products into the ocean. Another extremely important reason is radioactive waste. Radioactive waste is any pollution that emits radiation beyond what is naturally released by the environment. It’s generated by uranium mining, nuclear power plants, and the production and testing of military weapons, as well as by universities and hospitals that use radioactive materials for research and medicine. Radioactive waste can persist in the environment for thousands of years, making disposal a major challenge. Industrial Waste also has a major impact on water around the world. Many industries, not having a proper waste management system, drain the waste in the freshwater, which goes into canals, rivers, and later into the sea. The toxic chemicals may change the color of water, increase the number of minerals and change the temperature of the water.
So it's clear that water is polluted all over the world. It becomes interesting what effect water pollution has on people and their health....
