Who has greater influence on a child’s academic development parents or teachers

Getting proper education is certainly a crucial value for a child in order to improve knowledge and establish social and economic status throughout life. Some people believe that teachers help students to achieve their aims. While others say that parents have a greater influence on a teenager’s academic performance. As far as I am concerned I support the idea that teachers have more impact on a child's academic development than parents for a number of reasons.
To begin with, teachers help to discover and improve students’ best traits. For example, if a teenager is talented at mathematics but at home there is no one who could help him implement himself, teacher is the person who could help a child to advance these skills and seek academic achievements. As a result, teenagers can fulfill their dreams and create a strong basis for the future.
