To run a business is not that simple as it seems at the first sight. Of course it is important to know the theory of how to work and how to do it well but those that think it’s enough to be successful are totally wrong. Person that wants company to succeed in the future should think about everything even about the smallest details. The very important part in stepping forward to success is manager because on this person depends almost everything.
Firstly a successful manager must have a great number of essential qualities. But nobody is perfect, so a successful manager must have no fewer than four qualities. First of all managers have to be able to manage their time successfully, because they are inevitably juggling lots of activities and projects. They need to be able to deal with the complexity. They should analyse and classify the activities of the organisation and the relations among them. They should divide work into manageable activities and then into individual jobs. They should select people to manage these units and perform the jobs well. Furthermore managers need to be able to deal with uncertainty. The uncertainty of not knowing what will happen in the future, how secure their jobs will be, what their organisation will look like in the future, what their organisation will do in the future. Because a successful manager should set objectives, and decide how their organisation can achieve them. This involves developing strategies, plans and precise tactics, and allocating resources of people and money. However, the most important aspect of management is being able to deal with people.
