Story about a mystical hat

About five years ago, I found a top hat. I found it at a flea market and since it looked old-fashioned and cool, I decided to buy it. When I got home, I just put it in my closet thinking I would wear it one day. A year after I bought the hat, I moved to another city. As I was packing my things, I noticed the old hat that I had never worn. I decided to put it on. After I did that, everything was different.
After I bought it, I thought it was just an ordinary hat, but I was wrong. It was a magic hat. When I put it on, I could see valuables and money. That was pretty cool, but the coolest thing was that I could walk through walls with it on. When I combined the two things, I realized I could be the best burglar ever.
Later that day, I went outside. As I walked down the street, I saw a large amount of money. I walked closer to it. It was a local bank....
