Some people believe that rich industrialised nations are to blame for global warming, so it is their duty to figure out a remedy. However, others disagree with this sentiment, and state that those countries are not the ones at fault.
In the first place, I would like to discuss arguments in favour of the statement. Firstly, it is insisted that rich industrialised countries should find a solution to global warming because ultimately they caused it. For example, the climate crisis started because of pollution caused by industrialisation in France, the United Kingdom and the United States. Furthermore, rich countries have the resources and funding to invest in research and development, for needed technology and science. Therefore, since these countries have caused it, they should find a remedy to fix it.
