Home William comes back already adult person, dreaming to get family and to live a peace life. But the destiny has disposed differently. His wife was killed by Englishmen, and it began the crusade from freedom. He knew victories, defeats, friendship, love and treachery.
Wallace has gained some victories over armies of King Edward I and has seriously set Englishmen thinking above the further prospects of conquest of Scotland. He has lived a life of the present soldier, in his destiny there was one tragical and one hopeless love, he was uplifted, and he have betraid, as present hero.
“Braveheart" takes place in Scotland, during the Dark Ages. Scotland is repressed by England, led by brutal King Longshanks. William Wallace, a Scot commoner, avenges the death of his father, grandfather, wife, etc. the hands of the English by leading the Scots in a war for freedom.
Scots use spears, swords, axes and giant rocks, and they use them with a vengeance.
They get quite bloody...
