COBALT is one of the biggest lawyer offices in the Baltic countries. In 2001, irmantas Norkus, a lawyer, founded the law firm Norcous & Partners.
In 2004, Norcous & Partners and roschier (Finland), Lejins, Torgans & Partners (Latvia) and Raidla & Partners (Estonia) leading law firms in other Northern European jurisdictions merged into the Roscher Raidla alliance.
In 2006, the international law firm's guide to "PLC Which lawyer?" rated the law firm as one of the leading law firms in the field of competition law.
At the awards held in 2008, the international law firm guide "PLC Which lawyer?" recognized the Nordic and Baltic law firms alliance Roschier Raidla as the best law firm in the Northern Europe category.
In 2008, the law firms Norcous & Partners, Lejins, Torgans & Partners and Raidla & Partners consolidated their activities in the Baltic states and named one name "Raidla Lejins & Norcous".
In 2009, Elijus Burgis, an expert in mergers and acquisitions, competition, banking and financial law, joined the firm together with a team of three professionals and a partner in the inter-law firm.
In 2011, The Financial Times and Mergermarket recognized Raidla Lejins & Norcous as the best legal adviser in the Baltic states (Legal Adviser of the Year in the Baltics).
In 2012, Dr. Rimantas Simaitis became a partner of the law firm and continues to lead the law firm's Dispute Resolution Practice Group.
In 2012, Raidla Lejins & Norcous opened a law firm in Minsk, Belarus.
