Non-reading festival

Non-reading festival - the biggest event of Dyslexia Awareness Week in Lithuania. This festival is a message to a young person that science, studies, career, success - everything is possible, even if the text and the book are not your best friends. After all, stories are born in different ways! Event dates: October 3rd, Mo Museum, Vilnius, Lithuania, and October 7th, National Museum of M. K. Čiurlionis.
The experience of literature lessons without books is reviewed by Renata Zarauskienė - the author of the idea, teacher of Lithuanian language and literature at Žvėrynas Gymnasium, and her students.
People who have not been hindered by dyslexia from growing up are participating in the discussion - director Saulius Baradinskas, head of "Robotikos Akademija" Kristijonas Vasiliauskas, romance writer K. B. M. Lion.

17:00 – 18:00 Premiere: Readings of the play "Pasistengiau"
"Pasistengiau" is a short play centered around a young guy who tells the story of his childhood and adolescence. He is an undiagnosed dyslexic, growing up in a strict family that highly values ​​educational achievements. Not wanting to disappoint his mother, hopelessly in love with a classmate, he hides his "stupidity" as best he can, finding himself in the strangest situations", - this is how the first play in Lithuania dedicated to reading disorders is presented by its creators - author and director Kristina Marija Kulinič and actors Raimondas Klezys, Andrius Mockus and Milda Vyšniauskaitė.
