In these modern times future teachers have an immense accessibility to the information sources to deepen their knowledge in various philosophies of education. Every single student brings a formed vision of teaching before enrolling in the university unconsciously. Their ideology may not be the best, but they should broaden the view throughout the years of learning at the university; and form ameliorated philosophy of the ways how they will be teaching at school, and what kind of methods they will be using at the beginning of their careers. This paper analyses my philosophy of education, answers to the questions such as what is my concept of learning, what teaching, assessment methods I consider to be beneficial, what is my attitude towards interaction with students and in what possible ways I foresee my professional growth.
Learning is an active process of engaging and manipulating objects, experiences, and conversations in order to build mental models of the world (Piaget, 1964; Vygotsky, 1986). In other terms, learning can be understood as observing, exploring the world around the learner, making connections between new concepts, ideas and prior understandings, having the ability to learn from and accept other individuals’ views, opinions. I assume a successful learning is if a student has a capacity to distinguish his personal point of view, and keep a mild respect for others, this is what I will try to achieve as a teacher. In order to reach this goal I have already determined several core values such as creativity and curiosity in a sense to be open to the new ways of doing the same exercises and be artistic and come out with original ideas; another important value is perseverance and courage.
