Monologue about crimes

Hello, today the subject of my talk is crimes. People all over the world commit crimes, in some countries less, in others more. There are many types of them. Such as burglaries, hijackings, robberies, kidnappings, etc.

Let's start off with crimes in Lithuania. Lithuania is not a dangerous country, because there aren’t a lot of crimes committed. According to 2021 statistics, the most common crimes are robberies, more precisely burglaries. There are also other types of crimes like smuggling, kidnapping, mugging, but they are committed very rarely. Pickpocketing and other forms of petty theft are common too, so keep your personal belongings and valuables safely concealed and don't leave items unattended. Theft from vehicles is also a growing problem. I think, these crimes are common everywhere and in Lithuania it‘s not an exception too, but we can surely say that our country is safe.

Moving on to the second question, I think there is no specific answer here, because everyone thinks differently. In my opinion, committing a crime depends more on the person than the environment, because a person chooses to commit a crime. Of course the environment can make some impact too. There are situations like living in a poor country or the desire for quick money. But committing crimes is one of the worst life paths to choose and there are better choices. In my opinion you can still change if you are naturally bad.
