Modern technology and technology in the future

Many of the things we do in our daily lives depend on technology. Life around us is changing all the time. Because we see and accept these changes without thinking, we are often not consciously aware that there has been any change. Nowadays we have lots of technological equipment in our home, witch make an impact on people’s everyday life.
To begin with, there is a variety of technological equipment in my home. We have a fully equipt kitchen, in which there are electric cooker, fridge with freezer, toaster, kettle and TV set. We also have a computer, landline phone, mobile phone, washing machine, vacuum cleaner and so on. All members of my family use these equipments every day and know that it is part of our everyday lives. We hardly even notice them anymore. What is more, technology has some benefits and drawbacks in people’s everyday life.
There are some advantages of using technology. First of all, technology really helps us to do our work better and faster. Washing machine cleans our clothes, dishwasher - plates, vacuum cleaner removes all the dusts from our rooms. Moreover, technology such as computers and mobile phones is also very useful. Computers enable people to keep in touch, make new acquaintances. It also can do work of many people saving money and time. Mobile phones increase people personal security.
