Nowadays more and more people are suffering from different eye diseases such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, glaucoma and etc. Most of people who have these diseases have to wear eyeglasses or contact lenses, which are very popular among young people. However these devices are not very comfortable in various life situations, especially for people who wear glasses – they have many problems in swimming pools, saunas, and the largest problem occurs in winter - it is the weeping of glasses. Luckily there are many ways to improve your vision, especially much of information about sight amelioration we can found in various book and even magazines – you can find written about herb teas, different exercises for your eyes and ocular muscles, even acupuncture and various oriental medical methods. Equally there is more drastic way to have good eyesight – a laser surgery. This way is very controversial though. Many people are discussing the positive and negative sides of laser surgery but there is no stated answer if it is a best way to have a bright sight. Therefore I decided to make this report in order to know more about corrective eye surgery and to ascertain if it is really worth to choose this way on purpose to get rid of eyeglasses. The surgeons who are practicing the eye laser surgery talk about it as it would be a miracle in our life and other doctors are not very fond of these surgeries. But I will try to clear this situation.
