In many countries women no longer feel the need to get married. Some people believe that this is because women are able to earn their own income and therefore do not require financial security that marriage can bring. To what extent do you agree?

In today's world, women's work opportunities have drastically improved due to a shift in mindset, leading to greater gender equality in the workplace. Some people believe that this has led women to no longer find marriage necessary, whereas others believe otherwise. From my perspective, marriage has essential meaning, when a woman and man commit to each other because of connection and love rather than financial status.

On the one hand, women’s opportunities have helped them to achieve radical goals in their career. Therefore, they can provide financial security for themselves and live a life to the fullest without anyone's help. In the past, women had no right to work and to express their preferences, that is why their families had to organize pre-arranged marriages. This phenomenon is when two families decide that their sons or daughters are going to marry in the near future. Usually that happens when a girl is 16 or 17 years old. Today, however, women have more freedom to choose whether they want to marry or remain financially independent.
