Let me begin by giving some basic ideas about tall buildings, throughout the history of architecture, have been a symbol of power and wealth, ensuring recognition for cities, region, and countries. I admit this idea and believe that the domination of the skyline places a very important role. In my opinion, since the time of Egyptian civilization we have see the height of a built structure, city, and even small tone.
Now let’s concentrate four basics in the development of high – rise buildings throughout the history of architecture: the functional, the eclectic, the modern and the postmodern skyscrapers. Let’s have a short look at all of them.
