Relevance of the topic: Building materials - natural or artificial materials used in the construction, reconstruction, repair of buildings and production of building elements and structures. According to the Construction Law, they are called construction products that are built, installed, placed or installed in a building or civil engineering structure for a long time.
The raw materials for construction materials are rocks, plant-based materials, metallurgical, chemical and petroleum products, and industrial waste. The oldest building materials are wood, clay, natural stones. They are divided into groups of natural rocks, wood, ceramics and articles thereof, glass and other mineral alloys, mineral (inorganic) binders, concrete and mortars, metals, organic binders and articles thereof, polymeric materials, varnishes and paints. According to the purpose, they are divided into structural (concrete, reinforced concrete, metals, wood, masonry products), heat insulating (mineral wool, cellulose wool, polystyrene foam, polyurethane foam, wood fiber, bulk, light crop, wood processing waste), waterproofing ( bitumen, bitumen-polymer mixtures and products based thereon), finishes (paints, varnishes, wallpaper, etc.), special purposes (heat-resistant, radiation-resistant, etc.). The choice of building materials depends on the properties - the characteristics of the production, installation, use and disposal of materials. Properties are determined in special laboratories by standard methods. Lithuania currently uses Lithuanian standards (LST), adopted European Union standards (LST EN), adopted standards of an international standardization organization (LST ISO, LST EN ISO).
Practical significance of the work: Modern constructions of reinforced concrete elements result in better thermal resistance, reliable tightness and high construction speed. And modern solutions provide much more architectural freedom.
The object - reinforced concrete structures.
The aim of the work - analysis of reinforced concrete structures.
3. To submit examples of reinforced concrete structures.
