Can humans be considered the most impactful factor of climate change?

Each year there are more and more storms, floods, fires and temperatures are changing dramatically. There are more scientists that are speaking up about our environment. They agree that it is caused mainly by human activity. In my opinion, we have to do something to change the world and make our future better and healthier.

To begin with, humans have an increasing impact on climate and earth's temperature by burning fossil fuels and cutting down forests. When fossil fuels are burned, they release nitrogen oxides into the atmosphere, which contribute to the formation of smog and acid rain. The loss of trees can lead to flooding, increased greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and the loss of habitat for animal species, which can harm ecosystems. This way it is not only dangerous for climate, but for people’s and animal’s health.

Another thing to bear in mind is air pollution. With the development of technology, more factories are emerging cities and street traffic is on the rise these days. Now, even driving short distances, people use cars when it is possible to walk or use public transport. Furthermore, air pollution can cause allergies, asthma attacks, cancer, vision and blood problems. It proves that air pollution affects not only climate change, but our well-being. However, a lot of people don’t do anything about it.
