Animals in danger

There are hundreds of factors threatening our planet nowadays. These factors threaten not only the nature but all the animals in it too. So many animals are dying and being extinct because of human development and just their desires. In this topic, I will speak why animals are being extinct and how should we protect them.
Firstly, why animals are dying or being killed? The first reason is human beings. Thousands of people kill animals just as a hobby and they don’t think about the lives of animals or their families. More than 100 million animals are killed each year in the US. This number is staggering, but doesn't reflect the entire situation. It is estimated that for every animal killed and claimed by a hunter, at least two other hurt and unrecovered animals die slowly and painfully from blood loss, infection, or starvation. The 'lucky' ones suffer permanent injury. Even if the hunter does not succeed in killing animals, he is still harming them. The hunter is intruding upon nature's delicate balance. Of course, that is legal hunting, but there are also lots of illegal hunters, called poachers. They hunt various animals illegally for they body parts, like elephants’ tusks, mammal skins and others to sell them for a huge sum of money. Another factor why animals are dying is just natural selection. Many animals kill others for food and they kill others and it makes a chain. But if some species are destroyed from that chain others can be harmed too and that can be a very important factor why animals...
