In my opinion I should begin with a main character of the text named a bus ride to freedom. This text is about Rosa Parks – African American women. She lived in Alabama. Therefore, one time at 1955 Rosa Parks came into a bus to go home, after work. Conventionally, at that time, black people of America could only sit at the back seats of the bus, but when the bus was full, they had to give their seats to white people. To be exact, at 1950s citizens, which were African Americans, were treated like second – class people. Segregation laws were meant that inequality, where people were separated of different races: schools were divided, in shops, cinemas, restaurants and buses, black people had rules to follow. But what Rosa did, was worth wide step to do. She decided not to stand up, when white people came into the bus and afterwards women was accused of police. That act of opposition...
