An introduction to the Greece country and culture.
This essay is written in a preview of the period I will live there. This essay is used for me to get an good impression about Greece and the people who live there. It is also imported to know a little bit about the country and the way the inhabited associate with each other. This in combination with the values and traditions can give me a good view about what I can expect.
For my docent this essay has another function. By this essay she can see how bad my English is. Or how good, but a guess that’s not an option in my case. I have a lot of problems with the spelling and the structure of a line. So I guess you will find a lot of mistakes in this essay. But it is my essay. I asked a friend of mine if she would control it after I finished it, and she would. Later I told her that it wouldn’t be necessary. If she tells me what’s wrong, I will change it and then it isn’t my essay anymore. It wouldn’t be possible anymore for my docent to check my English by this essay.
I hope it isn’t a total shame, if it is, I am sure it will get better eventually.
Although the country lies against the Mediterranean sea, it only exist for a small part out of water. The country counts 131.940 sq km, this makes it almost 4 times bigger then The Netherlands, it only exist for 1.140 sq km out of water. This is even less then 1 percent.
The country is surrounded by more then 1400 islands, only 169 of them are inhabitant.
Greece lies in another timeline compered to The Netherlands. In Greece it is an hour later. Because...
