Aaron Betsky paskaitos konspektas (angliškai)

Aaron Betsky was born in a little country in Missoula, Montana and grow up as he says in a partly boring and not interesting place, Nederland’s. He is the greatest example of person how from nothing he can reach everything. A.Betsky’s presentation is based on his all life work and experience. Now he is a director of the Cincinnati Art Museum and he is conferment as a lecturer, educator, writer and the most important as the architect.
So as a student of engineer of architecture I will try to shortly elaborate Aaron Betsky’s lecture about architecture and show the most important, interesting and the most effective aspects.
Aaron Betsky affirms that moving from one place to another helps to understand the environment which surrounds us. He says so because from his early childhood he was moving and he grew up in the Netherlands. As a critic he says that Dutch architecture is so good because the Netherland’s is one of the few pleases of the world which is indeed fully created by human beings.
The tree space which has an infinite possibility of uses needs to be calibrated, coronated with each other. And there are people who have to decide what to do with that land which they collectively made. So architects play the central role of this but also planners, artists, politician are important.
To be a good architect it is not enough to be talented, you have to realize that it does not depend on, how many or how big buildings you will make. A good architect’s dream should be to perform a critical role in making his country better. Not going to politics or army but using skills of understanding space, technology and how his country is made up.
