In the last decade people searched for ways to make museums interesting and appealing to various audiences again. This obviously was a challenging task but some museums managed to achieve it. By far one of the best examples is Los Angeles county museum of modern art. What the museum did was post photos of its artwork on social media and use hashtags, clever captions and jokes to get attention from various people around the internet. Obviously, it was the teens who brought huge popularity to the museum, and even participated in creating new captions and jokes for the photos of the painting that hung in the museum. This way museum gained popularity over a short period of time and news about it spread not only around Los Angeles, but worldwide too.
