What is freedom? Which type(s) of freedom is/are the most important?

To my mind, freedom is a powerful word. To some it means independence. To others, it means the ability to act and speak freely - or to go where they wish. This means that freedom can apply to different aspects of life and it is not an absolute term. The biggest problem is that in some countries laws are against people and they can not do anything to fight for their free lives and have rights. In my opinion, the most important types are that women would have the same rights as men and that people could say what they want.
