Travelling takes a big part of our lives. More and more people want to visit countries that they only have seen in the pictures or movies. Most of them travel, because they want to relax from their routine, others travel for their work or just for fun. However, over the years people have been debating whether travelling is a waste of money and time or no. To my mind, the answer is clear. I am convinced that travelling is really important to people’s lives and there is why.
First of all, travelling makes you more tolerant of others. You begin to see how people do things differently from you, but they still survive. We become so accustomed to how we do certain things that we believe it is the only way, and anyone who acts differently is inferior or strange. But travelling changes it. For example, it helps you to get to know different people, their traditions and religions and it is the funniest part of travelling, because you can experience new food, new music, new cultures, and it is so amazing how different it can be from ours. Then you begin to understand that not everyone in this world is the same as you, and that understanding might be useful in the future. You will become more sincere to others and will realize that it does not matter if person is different from you, they are still people with their lives and families, so we have to respect them.
