Studies abroad (speaking)

Hello, my topic is studies abroad. So today I am going to express my opinion about studying in the United States and what character traits are important for a person who intends to study or work abroad.
I was given the bar chart which illustrates the number of international students at universities in the United States. The numbers of students were given in thousands. In 2015 there were 450,000 foreign students. The numbers were stable in 2016 and 2017, there were 500,000 students. And the numbers increased significantly in 2018 – there were 590,000 international students in the United States. I wasn’t surprised by the results of this survey because I know that the number of foreign students is increasing every year.
But personally, I would not like to study in the United States and be an international student. And I have really serious reasons why. So, first of all, it would not be easy for me to adapt to unfamiliar surroundings because I really like stability and I do not enjoy changes. And I believe that my place is in Lithuania and I would not like to change anything in my life. As well, being so far away from my family could make me feel homesick. I have a really close relationship with my relatives so it would be really hard for me not...
