What is Pollution ?

Pollution is the process of making land, air, water and other parts of the environment dirty which becomes unsafe, unusable and harmful. The victims of pollution are animals, humans and all of nature.

The problem overview

Have you ever dropped chewing gum on the ground? Have you ever missed the trash can while throwing out your rubbish?

It‘s named pollution, if you said yes, then you contribute to pollution as well.

Why is pollution bad?

It‘s bad because it harms animals and the environment. For example:

You threw your chewing gum on the ground ,later a bird picks it up and eats it. The bird can no longer breathe, and it dies. The bird was an eagle. it won‘t be able to eat pythons anymore. Therefore, there will be too many pythons.

Why is pollution bad?

• Then, normally pythons will eat more frogs, and there will be a lack of frogs and too many grasshoppers and so on. It is just one of many examples.
• Another problem is air pollution; let‘s talk about it.

Air pollution

Air pollution is caused by factories releasing too much poisonous gas into the air. Another example is cars releasing too much Co2 emissions. It‘s tough to stop because the owners of the factories earn money by working and therefore polluting the air.

Water pollution

We all know that water is essential to us, but we still dump about 80 percent of the world’s wastewater back into the environment, polluting rivers, lakes, and oceans.

Water pollution

This widespread problem of water pollution is endangering our health. Polluted water kills more people each year than war. Less than 1 percent of the earth’s freshwater is accessible to use.
