Missing lessons

Last school year 13 percent of secondary school pupils missed lessons because of spending time in Internet cafes. To tell the truth, I was shocked when found out this information. I think that nowadays need for entertainment wins against the necessity for knowledge. In Internet cafes pupils usually play various computer games and chat with their friend or people from over the world. I agree that it is interesting way of spending free time, but not the time needed for education. That‘s why some strict measures should be taken by schools and administration of Internet cafes to stop this practise. I think that schools should be interested in that where the pupils are gonig to and do not let them go from lessons without a serious reason. On the other hand if a pupil doesn‘t attend lessons at all, school administration should find out the reason for missing lessons by calling to his parents. Than parents would be able to handle their child. By the way, the administration of Internet cafes can also do something to prevent this situation. They could allow to use the internet for pupils only from 2 or 3 o‘clock – after the lessons.
However, Internet cafes is not the only one reason for missing lessons....
