,,August rush“ is one of the best movie about friends, love and music‘s power to people directed by Kirsten Sheridan. Released in 2007, it stars Freddie Highmore as musically gifted boy Evan Taylor, Jonathan Rhys Meyers as a rock singer Louis Connelly and Keri Russell as a classical cellist Lyla Novacek. It seems obvious that a film would be about music.
The plot involves Evan Taylor, a boy who runs away from his orphanage rather than be placed with a foster family. He believes that music will mystically reunite him with his parents. Evan is not a simple boy, he is endowed with an amazing hearing. He can hear anything: wind’s blow, people’s steps and other things that ordinary people do not pay attention to.. His parents were musicians, and they met through their music. They meet at a party and fall in love at first sight with each other. Lyla ends up pregnant after a tender one-night with Louis. When her domineering father keeps her from meeting him again the next day, both Lyla's and Louis's life journeys are changed forever. Months after their night of love, the pregnant Lyla is hit by a car and gives birth prematurely. Her father forges her signature on adoption papers, gives the baby...
