To start off, we can easily reach information about these events through the internet and social media sites. For example, internet and social media sites made it much easier to reach audience and invite everyone to participate in different type of events. We can easily reach information about clean up days and participate.
Also, there is so much information about climate change and the negative impact on our environment which could affect people. For instance, there are so much information about climate change and it appears everywhere as the negative impact of climate change affects us which leads us to taking part in these events.
Give at least two examples of ways to prevent pollution and explain why they might be effective.
In the first place, provide people with free reusable bags as the prevention from using one time use plastic bags. For example, it is a huge problem for environment as the majority of people still don’t use reusable bags as these bags make a huge negative impact on our environment. It is a great way to reduce pollution by providing people with free reusable bags everywhere as here, in Lithuania, we still have to buy them.
Besides, give some extra discounts for those who bring their own cup to the coffee shops instead of buying drinks in plastic cups. For instance, plastic cups is the most popular polluter. These cups end up in oceans, rivers, streets and everywhere where animals eat them and die. It is a great way to encourage people to use reusable cups and reduce pollution.
Pollution gets even worse in autumn. As more leaves fall it is easier for people to hide trash in the piles leaves, which needs even more attention. Pollution lasts all year...
